Optional Google Drive synchronization
Google access is used only for CopyNote’s private app data.
Google Drive synchronization is optional. When the user enables it, CopyNote requests the drive.appdata permission so the app can create and manage its own private synchronization file in the user’s Google Drive application-data area.
- CopyNote does not request access to general files in My Drive.
- Google sign-in is used only to authorize optional synchronization.
- Core note creation, editing, search, and copying work locally without Google sign-in.
- Simple Apps does not operate a server that stores users’ notes.
